Cancun Real Estate - Could You Be An Owner Of Beachfront Property?

Have you ever seen all those beautiful condos along the beach in Cancun and wondered if you could possibly own one? Here's some good news; you probably can! Owning Cancun real estate is within reach of the average buyer; here are some reasons why.

Low Prices
Prices in Mexico are generally much lower than any counterpart in the U.S., Europe or other parts of the world. Places with comparable prices simply don't have the infrastructure and services that Mexico offers. On top of that, they're much further away, and more costly to get to. Prices in Cancun are solidly within Mexico's accessible pricing. Some other factors have also made Cancun even more accessible.

High-rise Condos
For the sake of image, some beachfront communities even in Mexico have restricted their buildings to low-rise; since Cancun has no such limits, this allows for high-rises, which means more units on the same amount of land. For you as a buyer, this translates to lower prices for a nice unit with a view of the beach. The larger complexes can also include more amenities at a more accessible price since there are more residents.

A fact that helps a lot too is that financing is available in various forms. Most condos in Cancun qualify for mortgages. For new units, there are also developer payment plans or even full financing options. Mortgages are available from Mexican banks; while mortgages are fairly new to Mexico and include more bureaucracy and paperwork, but offer some distinct advantages.

Low cost of Living
On top of low real estate prices and tools to help you fit the purchase of a condo into your budget, the low cost of living in Cancun also helps you to afford this option. While the cost of living is low, there are lots of services, good infrastructure and lots of activities to make day to life active and interesting; this is a clear advantage over other cheap beachfront locations, where there are few services.

Experienced, Qualified Agents
This is a very important point that many people forget to mention/consider. Part of making your dream property on the beach accessible to you is having a qualified agent to guide you through the purchasing process; even if prices are good, and all the rest, it doesn't help you much if you're not sure that the purchasing process is being carried out correctly; good, experienced agents are available.
