Many of us dream about life on one of the beaches of the Riviera Maya, and there's a good reason for it. Yet the best part about it is that there's no reason to be content with dreaming! Here we're offering you a glimpse of Xcalacoco beach in Playa del Carmen just north of Playa del Carmen so you can not only dream about it, but start thinking about making your dream reality!
Along with the rest of the Riviera Maya, Xcalacoco beach offers wide, sandy, soft beaches with the splendid view of the turquoise Caribbean. On this beach in particular, you are likely to see kite-boarders out on the sea enjoying the open, sunny air in a way you could never imagine back home except for a couple of warm months in the summer; year-round warm weather allows you to enjoy this kind of activity even on the coldest days of January. What's kite-boarding? It's like a combination of surfing and sailing, where you stand on a board, and get pulled along by a large kite up in the air.
The biggest difference with Xcalacoco beach in Playa del Carmen is that even on a modest budget, you could afford to vacation here – or, even better, live here permanently. While nice gated communities and upscale resorts near the beach back home are only a luxury for millionaires these days, Xcalacoco beach specifically offers very nice options in both within walking distance, and for very reasonable prices. Several new gated communities are appearing in the area near beautiful golf courses and with bike trails and green areas.
Looking back to the beach, however, the beach is also very calm and quiet; because it is located just a few miles out of town, it's not busy with the largest throngs of tourists. Instead, it's a very nice beachfront area where you can relax, enjoy kite-surfing, walking on the beach, or just having a nice picnic.
If you are renting a home nearby (or, better yet, buying one) you can easily walk to this beach, ride your bike or enjoy a nice drive to make it part of your day to day life!
There are beautiful videos and pictures available to enjoy, but as we already said, you can make the dream of living here a reality. Whether it's vacationing or retiring, life in a paradise like this one is within your reach.
