Kids Designer Clothes

Author : Marianne Conway

The industry of Kids Designer Clothes is a multi-million-dollar industry. Recently, it took centre stage, offering endless style options, brands, and value points to suite any young fashionista. Numerous telebox advertisement campaigns are designed for dressing kids within the latest and greatest fashion. With the onslaught of celebrity children gracing the covers of magazines in their fancy designer goods, it comes as no surprise that fashion-conscious parents everywhere want to wear their kids in the best kids designer clothes they can find.

There are many debates surrounding whether dressing young children in the latest styles and trends is acceptable. Some argue that shelling out a lot of money for mini-sized clothing is unacceptable, unnecessary, and frivolous. They think that children must be treated as children and not clothed like dolls. Others want the very best for their children in every way and feel that outfitting children in the latest fashions is a sure way to do this. These people would also think that dressing children with the latest fashion gives them a feeling of self-esteem, self-awareness, and enhances their capability to relate and fit in with their peers.

Fashion designers, manufacturers, and retailers work hard making use of their respective advertising teams to produce eye-catching advertisements that catch the attention of people of all ages. Research conducted recently found that parents bought an average of seven dresses and five pairs of shoes per season for girls, and 10 shirts and five pairs of jeans for boys. This nearly doubles the amount that parents spent on their own wardrobe updates each season. Advertisers know that if you can target a child, you've in turn sold to the parent, and that's why advertisers for print and tv spend huge amounts of money to assure that campaigns develop a "need" for children to acquire these items.

Fashion and media go hand-in-hand and therefore are in charge of influencing and inspiring people around the world. The newest generation of individuals being influenced and inspired is at the youngest ages in recorded history. The question still remains whether or not children are becoming more fashionable than their parents. There are many considerations. Some parents purchase these clothes for their children because they have the methods to. A number of these parents were raised having fewer items of lesser quality and deem it essential that their kids possess the latest fashions. Other parents simply wish their kids to wear as fashionably as they do. Yet other parents just have a tough time telling their children "no" and fancy to lavish them with the season's most coveted items. Some parents simply take pleasure in the compliments and smiles from strangers on how adorably-dressed their children are.
