Author : Trevor Price

As a cat owner, there will be days when you could find yourself missing you cat. If you don't find it in its favorite lounging spot, not answering to your calls or failing to sound its meows at lunch time, you could be looking at harrowing days ahead. You can check with your neighbors and inform the local SPCA and police, but the anxiety and fear that something bad could happen will always be there. But it helps if your kitty is wearing one of those ID cat collars.

Basic Practical Features

The next time you order your regular cat supplies or when shopping for a one of the newer cat carriers to replace a damaged one, whether online on in your neighborhood pet shop, be sure to check out their inventory of cat collars. Cats may not like wearing one, but you can they can be trained and you can thank your lucky that your pet wears one in times when they go missing.

Cat collars often come with ID tags than can contain your contact details. This is the only thing that distinguishes your cat as being a pet and one that is stray or feral. There are many collar styles in the market, from simple colorful neck bands to fancy rhinestone styles that look like necklaces. There are also reflective styles that are known to prevent your cat from being run over when crossing the road at night. But one quality to look for n pet collars is the ability to break apart when the cat struggles to free itself should the collar get caught in a tree branch or pointed object.

Get the Peace of Mind
