Unfortunately, excessive loss of hair has become a major problem for a lot of people. Many factors can contribute to hair loss in an individual, such as hormonal changes, damage or injury to the hair follicles, poor nutrition, illnesses, certain medications, and infection in the scalp. Some medical treatments, especially radiation and chemotherapy, can also result in losing hair. It has been noted that certain types of hairstyle can also lead to the loss of hair. Stress is another reason that causes this troublesome condition.

The most frequent symptoms of this problem include falling of hair in large clumps and hair thinning. It is widely believed that a strong, healthy, and beautiful hair can make a person more attractive and more desirable, and so naturally it can affect a person psychologically and emotionally. For those who are suffering from this problem, it may be comforting to know that there are various types of home remedies that can help deal with this issue. Actually, you can prevent or reduce hair fall by following certain lifestyle and dietary changes.

Avoid frequent use of hair straighteners, hair dryers hot curlers, and other heat hair devices, as continuous exposure to heat can damage hair and lead to hair loss. It is highly advised not to color your hair very often and stay away from the hairstyles that cause this problem, such as tight ponytails and corn-rows. The most important home remedies for hair loss include avoiding certain activities like brushing or combing wet hair, strongly rubbing the hair with a towel, using harsh chemicals like hair dye perms, and hair relaxers, and rough handling of your hair.

Eating a healthy nutritious diet is very important in your fight against hair loss. Make sure that your diet includes all the necessary vitamins and minerals that your hair needs to grow and stay healthy. Wash your hair regularly to avoid infections. Stress-induced hair loss can be reduced by doing relaxation techniques, such as yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation. Massaging your scalp is an effective way to prevent this problem. It is helpful to increase blood circulation to scalp and to stimulate the activity of sebaceous glands. The essential oils of lavender, thyme, cedarwood, grapeseed, jojoba, thyme, and rosemary are considered as good home remedies for hair loss. Prepare a blend of these essential oils and use it to massage your scalp.

Take 100 grams of henna leaves and boil them in 250 grams of mustard oil. When this concoction becomes cool, rub it over your scalp. You can repeat this up to two or three times a week. This is one of the good home remedies for hair loss. Make a mixture of equal amounts of coconut milk and aloe vera gel and put it on your scalp. Let the mixture remain on the scalp for about half an hour and then wash it off. Do this thrice a week to reduce hair loss. Another best way to lessen hair fall is to massage the scalp with a paste of fenugreek seeds and water.
