In our everyday life we come across different sites where uses of these signs are must. This includes construction sites, electronic manufacturing units or electronic workshops, factories carrying hazardous chemicals etc. Some of the common health & safety signs found in these areas are Caution signs, restricted area signs, fire exit sign etc. Among these Caution sign is very common at the construction site. Generally, this kind of signs has the word "Caution" written in bold letters with eye-catching colours that intends to alert the passer-by. Similarly, in construction sites you can also find alert signs like "Authorized Personnel Only".

In any electronic manufacturing units or electric workshops one of the most common healthy & safety signs found is Danger sign. The most common design of this safety sign is the word Danger is painted or printed inside a red circle. The red colour is very bold and immediately catches the attention of the passer-by or onlookers and alerts their mind. If the site has any risk of electric shock, the design sometimes changes with inclusion of words like "High Voltage" below the word Danger.

Another common type of healthy & safety signs are Restricted area sign. This particular kind of sign is used not only in offices but also at corporate houses, workshops, manufacturing companies etc. With this sign it conveys the messages to the people that this area is not meant for everyday and its entry is only limited to concerned people only. In fact, in these places the use of "Authorized Personnel Only" signs can be found to convey the same message. Thus, we can understand that healthy & safety signs are used not only for safety, but also for security. Whenever you come across these kinds of healthy & safety signage make sure that you are following the instructions properly for your own safety.
