How To Loose Calories?

The main aim of having an exercise routine is staying fit. Many of us tend to follow an exercise routine to maintain ourselves. While some of us have to resort to this routine to lose calories. These are the fats that accumulate through intake of food high on calories and finally add to our weight. Fried foods, junk food, etc are quite high on it. To lose the extra weight for a healthy body these calories have to burned. Exercise, rigorous gym routine helps you to do so. However, Yoga also helps you reduce your weight. You can burn fats and calories. There are some types or styles in this form of exercise that help you lose weight and get in to shape. Unlike gym you cannot make a 'six pack abs' with this form of exercise but you can definitely get in to shape and get rid of all the unwanted calories.
There is a myth that this form of exercise is only to relax and get rid of all the stress. However this is incorrect. There are some milder forms which only help you to stay fit and help in your body movement so that you stay energetic. Some other forms are meant especially for burning those extra fats and getting back in to shape.
Some styles are very simple and just work as warming up your body and keeping your stress levels down. There is also meditation and breathing exercise which make people feel that it is only a mild form. It is usually considered a form of exercise that helps to rejuvenate one's body and mind.
Yoga styles like hot Yoga, Power Yoga, etc are actually aimed at losing weight. The asanas in these exercise stretch your body to the limit and while you practice these asanas regularly, you tend to lose fats and calories.
Hatha Yoga has some basic postures and breathing techniques. You can burn up to 175 calories every hour. This is similar to the number you would lose with a slow walk
In Ashtanga, there are six set series. With every series the level of difficulty increases. With this you can lose up to 300 calories per hour. It is same to the number you would lose while walking briskly.
In Vinayasa which specializes in 'Sun Salutation', you can lose up to 445 calories per hour. It is same like riding a bicycle.
Finally the Bikram or Hot Yoga. It is practiced in a room with a temperature of 105°F a humidity of up to 40%. There are almost 26 postures and breathing techniques. With this you burn al most 630 calories per hour. It is same to the number you would lose while jogging.
Choose a style of yoga you are comfortable with and lose calories.
