How To Protect Skin From Harmful Sun Rays - Part 1

Author : Tom Mike

How to protect skin? How to protect your skin from harm full rays of sun? These are the first questions which come to our minds when summers are up. There are also several articles and news on beauty and skin care we can found the dangers of UV rays and how they harm your skin and protection from them. One can think that after reading these articles he/she knows all about the harm and how he can protect his/her self from these harmful rays of sun. But every year there are several new researches and new products which are out there and need to be tested and it's become really difficult when you have to choose one from all of these. It's really become a wise decision which you have to take while selecting from one of these skincare beauty products. Because you have to select what is best for your skincare.

You must consider some facts about these products while you're going out in the sun.

The first and most important is that the sun block and sunscreens both products are different to each other, it's true that both protect your skin but they both do their work in different ways, and there are different reasons to use them. Well if we talk about sunscreen it's more commonly used by the people, it is made of chemical agents, it is more like a filter on the skin which filters the UV rays, and blocking most of the rays and allow some to be absorbed by the skin. While sun block act in totally different way, sun block is opaque, it reflects the UV rays off of the skin. We can say it's more like a wall or protecting sheet between the sun rays and the skin. If we compare both they both are good, sunscreen gives you a better protection from these harmful rays but if your skin is very sensitive then it's better to use sun block because its formula contains less disturbing and irritating ingredients as compare to sunscreen's chemicals. But now days there are products in the market which contains both of them so it's really easy choosing between these two if someone has not irritable skin.

In past few years there are several different skin care and skin beauty protection products in the form of sunscreen has been introduced in the market but important thing is that which product suites your skin best and 2ndly how much correctly you apply that product on your skin. Many people don't take sprays because they know that when they do spray, spray that misses the targeted body area it gets wasted. While other who apply sunscreen lotions, they apply it in way how they do make up or body lotion on their body skin. This is not the right way to implement sunscreen on your body skin, always apply sunscreens on your body skin densely and thoroughly in order to make a proper layer of it on your skin to get complete protection from harmful UV rays of the sun. Always make sure that you rub sunscreen on your skin to get proper even treatment and make sure it get absorbed in your skin, even if the applying method was made to this avoid this.

While buying such products you should not look into high SPF numbering of these products. Because the chemicals present in the sunscreen are the only elements which can protect your skin from these harmful UV rays of sun, additional elements in the formula will not be protecting your skin more so better to look always for simple sunscreen products. Because SPF standards say the after SPF 50 addition in the protection is totally insignificant and it will not give your skin any extra protection or consideration so why to pay extra money.
