Your hair requires nutrients like inositol and biotin to maintain the health and strength of hair follicles. Biotin is also beneficial to prevent premature graying and the loss of hair. Maintaining proper hair hygiene and following healthy hair habits are perhaps the best home remedies for hair care. Wash your head regularly, at least once in a week. Make sure that the shampoo you use is suitable for your type of hair. Before shampooing, comb or brush your hair to remove the knots and dirt accumulated on the hair. The home remedies also include avoiding brushing or combing wet hair, staying away from excessive exposure to the sun, putting on a hat when you go out, wearing a cap while swimming to protect your hair from chlorinated water or salt water, trimming your hair regularly to prevent split-ends, not using hair care products that contain alcohol, and to drink a lot of water.

Olive oil is one of the best home remedies for baldness. It conditions your hair, reduces dandruff, cures baldness, and makes it shiny. Massaging your head and scalp daily with your fingers is beneficial to lessen hair loss and to boost blood circulation. Lemon juice is a good natural remedy for dandruff. Apply some lemon juice and wait for 20 minutes, and then wash it off.
