Article Marketing To Increase Website Visitors

Author : Cortney Yoder

If you have been marketing online for a while, you will no doubt know that article writing is one of the most established methods of driving traffic to your websites. Any articles you submit will mostly have clickable links to your sites and also giving people something to read about regarding your subject matter. The aim is, thus, that people feel very motivated enough to click any link to check out your site. In the rest of this article, there are some hints to make sure your article marketing efforts succeed.

The first point to establish is what are you going to write about. If we assume that you run a website that you want to drive traffic to, then definitely you will already know what your market is. In writing an article, there is a distinction between this and your website content. To clarify this, your knowledge of your niche will be demonstrated when creating your articles. The aim is that at the end of your article, an user is interested in more information. Your web site will be where they find the extra information they require. We will now talk about how an article should look.

A reader will initially look at your headline, so you must get this right. There will be other writers in your marketplace who will also be writing articles. Hence, you need to give online users a reason to read yours and you can do this with a compelling headline. There are a lot of ways to do this, like asking a question or using some form of intrigue. The best headlines cannot be left without an individual feeling compelled to proceed to read the article. Magazines and billboard advertisements are sometimes fine examples of what works. Find out how certain advertisements appeal to you.

As noted previously, you want to be viewed as an authority in your market and that is the purpose in the body of the article. If you simply write anything with the hope of someone clicking through to your website then you are sure to fail. Keep in mind that your writing should sufficiently engage the interest of the reader. The next step is someone wanting to view more of your writing and your site could be their next stop. Your articles might be suggested to someone else. Another website owner may use your article as information for his readers. This will help to spread out your content far and wide.

At the end of your article, there is something called a resource box. The idea at the end of your article is to try to send people to your website to see more about what they have just read. By providing value, you will then be able to send readers to your web site to provide the answers they may be searching for. It could be that you offer them an incentive such as a free report or simply that there are more facts they need to know which are found on your website. So, at the beginning of your article, you want a person to go on reading and at the end you direct them to your website.

If you want to start seeing some more visitors to your site, then article marketing can help you accomplish that.
