Executive Leadership Training: Why Vivid Communication Is Crucial

We spend a great deal of time during our leadership coaching and training on communication and the impact it has on execution, morale, productiveness, change and so on. Most organisations convey so incredibly poorly? Why do I hear leaders fuss that they did not know about the company's new ad campaign until they saw it on TV? Why do branch offices know nothing about the particular pricing or promotion? Why does the leader see that one of her employees is being reassigned after the employees learns? Vivid Communication is not hard, not pricy and will create an extensive return to your company. It starts with a primary correspondence that your different audiences (leaders, employees, clients, vendors, stockholders, legislators, media, etc.) will always do a greater job when they are well informed. Once you are committed to this, just follow a couple of primary rules and always integrate them into your executive leadership coaching and training, company-wide:

Have an Clear Leadership Vision-be absolutely defined and consistent. Make sure every communication is harmonious with this idea.

Be Amenable and Dependable-if you cannot believe in your leaders to handle delicate information responsibly then you have to reevaluate whether you have established the correct hiring conclusions.

Be Early, Frequent and Versatile - there is no alibi for being late in communications; oftenness invariably matters more than we imagine; and alike messages delivered the same way or by the like medium time and again will not register. If all announcement is made only be email then finally the email becomes like city noise, the occupants don't hear it.

Touch Lives-There is an old expression that "people don't care what you know until they know that you care." Make it your leadership assignmeent to make every communication be about the receiver, not you.

We as leaders are existing in hard times. For some section, region or company to flourish and prosper demands the perception and skill of practiced leaders. We become knowledgeable through experience and by fine-tuning our leadership qualities during times of challenge. This is the result of becoming a Contagious Leader. A small price when one considers the benefits.
