Ways On How To Eradicate Anxiety Permanently

Author : Theo Goldrick

Anxiety is an usual response to stress. Anxiety is an outcome of pressure at work, in school, at home and even when having a major event in your life like death of loved ones, divorce or any unexpected changes. But as soon as anxiety becomes too much, irrational and accompanied by panic or fear that already interferes with an individuals daily activities, it becomes a disorder. Sometimes anxiety and panic attack is a result of an illness or side effects of medications which should be treated and prevented at once before it can get serious and lead to chronic anxiety and panic disorder. It is essential to recognize the condition as soon as possible and look for the best treatment and prevent anxiety and panic attacks completely.

The following are symptoms of panic attacks in which you should be aware of: unusual palpitations, shaking, excessive sweating, fear of dying, hallucinations, excessive depression and insomnia. If you suffer from these symptoms it is best to find treatment to eliminate anxiety and panic attacks and free yourself from these symptoms.

Panic and anxiety attacks typically last for 10 minutes but more severe attacks may last up to two hours. When the attack is currently happening, try to calm yourself by breathing in and out slowly. Do this breathing excercise so that your attacks will be alleviated. Splash cold water into your face, this works to some people triggering the brain to send message to the body to slow down. Talk to someone or call someone, keep walking or moving, watch a funny TV show, listen to your favorite music and say to yourself "I will be okay and I will feel better." While these are not the best treatment to eliminate panic disorder permanently, these will help you cope up with attacks once it strikes you. There are also medications for panic disorder like Fluoxetine (Prozac) and Sertraline (Zoloft) but most patients see to it that they're not dependent on prescription drugs due to their unwanted effects.

Anxiety panic attack is a disorder and even though you can put a quick fix during attacks it is important to find treatment to free yourself from this disorder and eliminate anxiety and panic attacks permanently.
