The correct answer might be one or the other, it might be both or it might be neither. A lot depends on who you are and what you need, as well as how much weight you have to lose. So, while getting professional advice is good, you may want to start with some smaller changes and gradually work your way up. Here are some suggestions.


Drink Water:

Dehydration is a number one cause of a lot of medical problems. Not only that, but water is great for flushing toxins and unwanted waste (which weighs quite a bit) out of your system. Also, an added benefit is that drinking water tends to suppress the appetite. So, you'll be less likely to eat too many unnecessary snacks, which will also help you to shed unwanted pounds.


Stay Active:

Find new and fun ways to stay active, too. The more active you are, the more calories you can burn off. If you happen to be taking a supplement to regulate your metabolism, staying active will help to increase your body's fat burning efficiency even more.

There are many types of physical activity. Walking or jogging is probably the easiest because you can do it anywhere and at any time. However, you can also ride bikes, swim, take up a sport or even go dancing a few nights a week. The point is to just keep moving.


Metabolism:

Speaking of regulating your metabolism, you need to help your metabolism along a bit. That means cutting out junk food. It also means eating more fruits, vegetables and other healthy snacks. Your body will thank you with fast weight loss and better health.
