Sea Food Packaging

Author : Vic Brain

Today; sea Food packaging manufacturer are hoping to capitalize on the growing demand for seafood.
The major sea food packaging brands are trying to change this. Between them, they have launched a raft of developments aimed at making of food packaging pouches. The overall aim is to make food packaging simple to fill it and less nasty to handle.
This type of packaging are not the normal packaging like food, snack, candy, coffee, tea, chocolate, biscuit, jelly, milk powder, sachet, packaging but they are differently handled in manufacturing for this.
The manufacture has to take care for its smell to keep for the longer periods.
But I do not know much about this kind of packaging as sea foods bags are different from normal food like nuts bags, coffee bags, tea bags, chocolate bags etc.
I am only concern about the quality maintained in that food pouches or food bags. They must be eco-friendly, easy to handle, easy to fill the food and most importantly easy to remove when customer opens that …hahahaha!
Sea food packaging should be packed in high barrier packaging film such as NYLON film and EVOH films to retain freshness and the sea food products. The packaging should be high in moisture vapour, oxygen barrier, and Water vapour transmission rate. Also the sea food packaging film should withstand extreme low temperature because all the sea food will be always frozen above minus 18 degree Celsius. So the films should have very good flex crack resistance.
Evoh and nylon bags can be vacuumed. So evoh bags and nylon bags are also called as vacuum bags or vacuum pouches. Once the product is vacuumed the product do not have any oxygen inside so degradation of the product is halted.
We evoh and Nylon films are used then the meat is tender inside and the meat looks fresh when opened because the water from the meat do not come out and the meat is juicy and looks fresh if packed with EVOH and nylon films. There are also resealable zipper bags available for extra freshness.
It must be good printed, few areas of the packaging can be made transparent so that consumer can see the food from inside. Oh My GOD what I am doing this "Hahaha" this all things are better known by the manufacture rather than me explain all this stuff, But but but am gonna be faithful to consumer as they pay their hard money to buy this pouches. So please all manufacturers make less profit and please deliver a proper packaging with good raw material used and it MUST be eco-friendly.
One more thing that I have observed that earlier the manufacture was selling these types of food pouches in bulk but now a days you can find them in the small quantity even. You can get in many colors, many sizes and they all are tested under many conditions. Each sea food packaging or sea food bags are tested and quality checks are done.

Many raw and cooked foods are packed in the bags like mussels packaging, prawns packaging, fish packaging, salmon packaging, tuna fish.
Go to any good and clean sea beach, buy a chilled beer, buy sea food pack and sit on chair facing the sea and feel like heaven .. Awesome..!
Let me rush now ….!
