? The occurrence of DNS Error 80710102 can prevent play as you are unable to connect to the internet. This problem can be dealt with and resolved. Here is a look at the steps involve in correcting DNS Error 80710102:

? Open the system browser and enter the router's IP address in the address bar. This will give you access to the router's configuration panel page. Enter the router's login name and password in the panel and click 'OK' to enter the page.

? Once you have entered the configuration panel, select 'Password', and choose Disable" under "UpnP'. Click 'Save' to confirm these action.

? Restart your Sony Playstation. Once the console is restarted it is available for connection to the internet. So try to connect it once again to the internet.

? In most cases, the above steps should be able to get the Playstation connected properly to the internet once again. However, in case it fails to connect, you can do the following tasks:

? Go to the PS3 homepage to download PS3 firmware in its latest version from the internet. Before you begin downloading, create a separate folder to download the firmware in the system's Flash drive.

? After completing download to the drive, disconnect the drive from the system and connect it to the PS3 playstation. If you get into the XMB main menu, you can find the 'Game' menu. Select the PS3 firmware update file from the PS3 menu to update it in the playstation console.

? Restart the console and make an attempt to connect to the internet.
