How To Keep Your IPad In Tip Top Condition

Author : rubi ryan

Your new iPad is probably the envy of your friends and peers. Awesome isn't it! And while you recokon it's most assuredly the neatest $500 you've ever laid out, you would have to be crazy to not secure your prized possession.

In this article we'd like to share with you some advice to enhancing your iPad's life - and ensuring you get the maximum from your latest acquisition.

There's a lot for you to consider. It was hugely expensive and you definitely don't need to drop the damn thing. Annoyingly it's fairly challenging to pick up. The strange shape and size definitely make the task harder. If one thing's almost certain, you're likely to drop it when you start using it. Who knows it stands a fair chance of getting a drop of wine split on it. So ensuring you've got a proper water-proof cover is critical.

Don't just think practical when you buy your cover. It should also showcase your personality. This might seem uncomfortable, let's give thought to the reason you had to have it. There's a fair chance you just had to have it because it was new and cool. Don't lie! Despite the fact that it's extremely functional, it is pretty darned hot - you certainly will not be the odd one out if the fact it's new is one of the most critical reasons you splashed out.

Well, Steve Jobs informed analysts that more than four million of the little critters have been shipped in the period ending September 2010. And that was despite massive issuesfailures in their ability to ship from their factory. They just struggled to get the iPads into the retailers rapidly enough. Due to this your tablet is fairly rare for now - not too many of your co-workers have one right now. But that will change rapidly.

So if you want to look different, you had better accessorise it. What better way to do this than to tart up your tablet with a radical cover that becomes as much of a feature as the iPad itself. We chanced upon a company called Covers and Stuff who make a unusual range of natural sleeves. As well as being striking, they are ecologically sound and have an unusual social conscience behind them.

Each year they hold a competition to find who can make the most outlandish design for a device cover. The most recent competition garnered submissions made from recycled shopping bags, dyed sheep leather and even used cement bags. If you want to be different from the crowd. You should buy one of their products. And you want more?It gets even better. All of their bags is stitched by hand a community of unemployed people who operate from a township in Cape Town, South Africa.

In addition to showing off a highly colourful - and absolutely once-off - bag for your most treasured possession, you'll also be assisting to put food in the stomachs of one of the most needy and most disadvantaged communities in the world. We think it's one of the coolest ideas we've seen in a long time.
