Surprisingly Simple Ways To Get Rock Hard Abs

Author : Brandon Jay Jones

If you're looking for ways to get rock hard abs, there's a few key mental shifts you need to keep in mind.

You see, getting a six pack isn't "all" about what you physically do. There's a mental component to the program as well.

For example, similar to undertaking any other type of goal you have in life it's wise to make a plan first right? You assess your current situation and see how you're doing in certain areas.

Well, gaining that sleek sexy six pack really isn't any different. If you want to mold this thing on purpose, it' time to get your mental "thinking" and planning in tact. Here's a few ways you can get started.

Determine the reality of your current situation. Now, this one might not be the funnest thing in the world but it's totally necessary. One key characteristic of successful people is they all have the ability to look at reality as it is.

Now, I'm not saying you should look at your situation and start to beat up on yourself. Nope, the trick here is to "frame" your situation in a positive light.

For example: If you are 50 pounds overweight from where you want to be, that is your reality.

However, you can interpret that reality in at two different ways. One way will empower you, the other will dis-empower you.

Here's two examples:

"Well, I'm 50 pounds overweight so I may as well not even try. There's now way a guy like me can lose 50 pounds and get a six pack, this will never happen."

Contrast this with:

"Well, I'm 50 pounds overweight. That's ok because I'm determined to lose this weight. I know once I've accomplished this feat, I'll have so much self confidence and I'll know I can do anything I set my mind to. I'll have a great story to tell the world."

Do you see the difference between the two interpretations?

The top one was framed in a way that dis-empowers the individual - how motivated are you going to be if your self-talk sound like that every time.

However, the second one was very empowering to the individual. He didn't ignore the reality of the situation. He just chose to interpret it in a way that allowed him to gain some sort of an advantage to it.

So it's obvious there are many ways to get six pack abs - many of which involve doing no exercises at all.

Yes, you will need to perform exercises. But, much of what you undertake needs to be planned out before you even begin. Otherwise you'll just be spinning your wheels.

When it comes to getting those six pack abs. Another thing you can do is become someone who is constantly learning. Knowledge is power. The more you can learn, the better your chances of succeeding.
