Many people mistakenly think vacation travel packages are only available if you’re going to a resort in the Caribbean, or on a European tour or to Disneyland. Some people equate vacation packages with a mindless rush from place to place. Well, that may have been the case years ago, but today there are so many options, you can pick a package that fits your own specific interests, activity level, timeframe and budget.
Let’s take vacation packages in Vermont for an example. As you might guess, there are loads of winter sports packages to choose from. You can find vacation packages that include lodging at one of Vermont’s resorts or hotels, ski lift tickets and even equipment rentals (very useful if you’re flying in and don’t want to pay the extra airline baggage costs to bring your own gear). To make a family vacation more memorable, you can add something out of the ordinary by signing up for a multi-sport package like skiing plus dogsledding or ice fishing. New England has much to offer for vacationers the rest of the year, too, and a Vermont vacation package can allow you to get the most out of your time and your budget whatever the season. There are autumn travel packages to take advantage of the state’s spectacular fall foliage display, and November harvest festival and Thanksgiving packages. Throughout spring and summer, you can choose vacation packages in Vermont focused on musical, visual and culinary arts. Sport packages from April through September give you your choice of such activities as guided and unguided hiking, white-water kayaking, fishing and rock climbing. Can’t decide? No problem: Take advantage of multi-sport packages for both individuals and families. What a deal!
