1. Dietary modification has often employed in addressing male and female pattern baldness. In the dietary approach to hair loss, the accent is on foods rich in minerals like silica, iron and calcium such as green vegetables. In the treatment of female hair loss, there is increased focus on protein and zinc supplementation.

2. Crack an egg and separate the yolk from the white. Place the yolk into a small bowl. Beat the yolk with a small whisk or fork for 10 seconds. Apply the yolk to areas of hair loss. Allow the yolk to dry for one hour. Wash your hair as your normally would to remove the yolk.

3. Get plenty of restful sleep. Lack of sleep can have a negative effect on your hair as well as your overall health. The body needs proper rest to make important repairs and reduce stress.

4. Apple cider vinegar and sage tea rinse home remedy for hair loss: Make a mixture using a cup of sage tea with three tablespoons apple vinegar and apply it to the scalp. Do not rinse.

5. Aromatherapy as a treatment for hair loss is becoming increasingly popular, but the basis is not necessarily scientific. Experts in aromatherapy use the oils obtained from bay, cedar wood, grapefruit, jojoba, lavender, lemon, rosemary, thyme and Roman chamomile. Users massage these compounds into the scalp and disperse them into the air with special dispersing units. The combined effect of absorption and inhalation apparently arrests hair loss. Some users even report renewed hair growth after using this method.

6. Measure (or weigh) 250 g of mustard oil and place in a small saucepan. Weigh 100 g of henna leaves, and place them in the same pan. Stir the oil and leaves together, mixing well. Place the pan on the stove. Turn the stove on and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir the mixture thoroughly and remove from the stove. Allow to cool. Massage the oil mixture into your scalp and areas of hair loss. Do not rinse the oil out until the next time you wash your hair.

7. Try to avoid undue stress. Extreme stress and tension can be very detrimental to your hair and your health. Stress constricts the blood vessels and stops your follicles from getting the nourishment they need to stay healthy. This is one of the best hair loss treatment.

8. Alfalfa drink: To combat hair loss it is also necessary to attack from the inside. A bald man took this drink daily and in three months time he had hair again. In a blender put a handful of alfalfa, half a dozen clean lettuce leaves (romaine) and two chopped carrots. Blend and drink immediately.
