How To Slow Down Hair Loss Naturally

Author : Charles Zoe

Hair can be considered a barometer of health because hair cells are some of the fastest growing in the body. When the body is in crisis, the hair cells can shut down to redirect energy elsewhere. The types of situations that can cause hair loss include hormonal changes, poor diet and nutritional deficiencies, a variety of medications, surgery, and many medical conditions. Hair loss is a very common problem. Many people suffer from this condition, which can have a very negative emotional outcome and create anxiety and stress, both in men and women. How to Stop Hair Loss explores the causes and solutions to baldness among men. Hair loss is a topic that no guy takes lightly, but with all of the products out there, how do you know which one really works?

1. Individuals metabolize copper at different rates, making copper toxicity or deficiency a personal affair. The slower your metabolic rate, the higher your copper retention, regardless of how copper gets into your system. The reverse is also true. If your metabolism works at mach speed, not much copper will accumulate, no matter the amount of copper you ingest. Vegetarians have a greater ability to retain copper than non-vegetarians. If you don't eat meat and your hair is thinning, this could mean a simple solution to your problem.

2. Diet: Baldness may be caused by poor nutrition. Usually, iron deficiency can lead to this condition and for this reason you should check the iron levels in your body and take a supplement, if necessary.

3. Hair loss can be one of the most frightening and frustrating thyroid symptoms. It can really help to find other people who are going through the same thing, via an in-person or online support group.

4. Maintain moderation Their is no harm in styling or colouring hair, but like most things in life if you overdo it, then your heading for a bald head! After these treatments, it is of utmost importance to take extra care by conditioning and oil massage to stimulate growth.

5. Too much salt can slow hair growth. How do you get too much salt? If you aren't intimate friends with your salt shaker, the answer could be too much stress. Stress naturally increases sodium retention. So chill out!

6. Vitamin C is essential for the synthesis of collagen and has an antioxidant action. Fruits (especially citrus) and vegetables (celery, peppers, carrots) are good sources of vitamin C. This is one of the best hair loss treatment. Vitamin C can be found in foods such as fresh peppers, citrus fruits, melons berries, potatoes, tomatoes, and dark green leafy vegetables.

7. Stress is the main cause of hair-loss for both men and women because it causes other problems like acidity, indigestion or migraine all of which cause trauma to the mind and thereby hair-loss. Practicing relaxation techniques like yoga or tai-chi help ease stress.

8. Keep hair and scalp clean of build-up of oil and dirt. Generally shampooing and conditioning hair 1-2 times a week keeps hair and scalp healthy. Unless one has extremely oily scalp, shampooing everyday is harmful.
