You will need to have a small notebook or journal of some sort, and a pen or pencil in order to utilize this weight loss tip which will double your progress in no time.

Here is the simple tip which will double your weight loss: keep and use a food and activity diary every day. It is that simple. Do not simply ignore this easy little tip just because it seems so simple - the truth is that it flat out it works!

Many people will inevitably fall into the trap of thinking that because this tip is too simple and so obvious, it really must not work. Don't fall into this trap! Researchers at four different facilities have tested this theory out several times and the results are always the same. People who follow this advice lose twice as much weight as those who do not.

In the 2.5 year long study, the average person who kept a daily food journal lost twice the amount of weight that the others lost. Keep in mind that even those who did not keep a daily food log still lost weight on average. But the act of daily journal recording resulted in an average of double the weight loss results.

How would you like to double your weight loss results with that kind of ease?

How does it work so well? Researchers can only speculate, but psychologists estimate that the act of writing down daily weight loss, exercise and dietary progress or lack of progress is a motivator for people to improve.

In other words, by simply recording your daily progress and looking at that information on a regular basis, you will be motivated to see your recorded numbers improve over time. That simple act motivates people to try harder and stick with their daily food and exercise goals. And in the long run, weight loss success comes from taking small steps toward success every single day until you accomplish your goals.
