You can make up your mind once you realize that having a security camera system is urgent, therefore; it is related to your needs for security surveillance, for instant; if you own a big shop, mall, school or even a college, you will definitely need a security camera system.
2. Which security system is more suitable for you?
You need to decide what exactly do you want to see, how far away is it, what are the lighting conditions you have, is it for indoor uses or for outdoor ones?, How wide a viewing angle is desired? The answers to these questions will help you choose the correct kind of camera and lens combination, the correct mounting or enclosure, even what kind of cabling needs to be provided. IP systems are cost effective due to their ability to reduce the cost of cabling in large installation and reduce the network infrastructure by using the same network for both: the transportation of video and control of PTZ.
Another major feature of IP systems is the high resolutions, which can handle; so, face identification is an easy job for IP systems.
IP security systems are remote access systems; that is the ability to access real-time video from any computer and from any country in the world, which saves time and cost.
3. What are the major reasons behind using a security camera system?
• Insuring Safety: Security cameras provide protection and a comfortable feeling of being secured because everything and everyone is being watched and monitored.
• Prevent Shoplifting: When most people think of theft of goods, they think of shoplifting. By far shoplifting gets more publicity, so you hear about it more often.; It is a significant problem. It does not always make economical sense when hiring more employees to watch your customers. Video surveillance gives you the ability to watch both your customers and employees with less effort and money.
• Proactive tool: people usually do not commit crimes if they are aware that they are being watched and recorded; especially, in places such as malls, jewelry shops, airports….etc.
