How To Prevent Allergy Problems With Vacuum Cleaner

Have you experience this situation? You clean your room with a vacuum cleaner to remove allergens. You turn the vacuum on and before long you sneeze like crazy. It just doesn't make sense. Why do allergy symptoms appear when you clean the house?
On the other hand, not vacuuming builds up those allergens too. Clearly not healthy and allergy friendly. It might not be obvious, but it's quite simple. Most vacuum cleaner has a standard filter at best. When vacuuming, some of the particles will be expelled back with the filtered air. Unless it is HEPA-certified filter, it is not strong enough that some nasty particles contaminate the whole room.
Much less allergy and asthma triggers can go through HEPA filter. It is able to remove 99.97 percent of the dust, mold, bacteria, pollen and any airborne particles down to 0.3 microns. No wonder it's so much different.
Your requirements are likely to be different than others, so unless you know their situation, avoid making decisions based solely on their opinions. If you look at the feature list, it doesn't take too long before you feel confused about what each item actually means. When someone at your home has allergy, look for HEPA filtration to help limit allergy triggers. But that's not all.
As the demand for HEPA filtration increases, many brands begin to integrate this feature in their vacuum cleaners. The thing is, not all HEPA filtration vacuum are created the same. Filter is just one component. How well the body of the machine is built is another different matter. As the result, particles may still leak out through the cracks and around the filter.
Careful construction is necessary to avoid leakage, and often this is done by adding rubber sealing. Look for a machine that has been HEPA certified.
A vacuum cleaner may not be able to remove all allergy triggers but it does help. If it's possible, replace carpet with wooden floor as carpet often traps debris.
If you have carpets, go through it slowly. Using fresh bag will make sure you get the best suction possible. Also, before you decide on which vacuum cleaner to buy, check if it is suitable for the type of floor you own. At least you can switch between hard floor and carpet settings.
Finally, pick a vacuum cleaner that is able to get into the corners and small gaps.
