Points To Be Remembered While Buying Cartridges

Author : jessica pickaso

Buying cartridges for your printer can be quite tricky, especially for those who are buying them for the first time since installing their printers. The first installation of the printer is easy and you hardly notice when hundreds of pages have been printed and it is time for reinstalling the old cartridges or refilling them. Those who have huge amounts of printing to be done will obviously concentrate on saving, but as a result we sometimes overlook the finer details, which may damage your printer to the extent that they have to be replaced. So it is best to use quality products for your printer and ensure that it works smoothly for years to come, instead of risking damage that may cost you a lot more and you may have to discard your printer and install a new one.

4The first thing that you should keep in mind is that whether the cartridges that you are thinking of installing are compatible with your printer or not. You may be using Samsung cartridge for a Samsung printer, but the model of your printer may not be compatible to that particular cartridge. So carefully read through the user’s manual to know exactly which cartridge is suitable for your printer.

5Use if second hand or refilled cartridges is okay if you are absolutely sure that they have been properly refilled with good quality ink and will not spill and harm your printer. But in case you have doubts and are not sure about it, then it is best you go for new cartridges.

6While buying cartridges online check that they were properly sealed. Try getting the office address of the dealer so that you can return damaged products and claim payback to save your money.

7Lastly, never buy cartridges from unauthorized dealers knowingly, as you will loose the right to complain even to the company if your printer is damaged in any way. This apart from the money that you will loose.
