Assembling a baby basket with baby gifts is a treat for any mother-to-be and can be done simply if you were to follow these few instructions:
6.The first step is always selecting a basket or hamper for the purpose-this may or may not come with a handle.
7.Lay a bunch of colored tissues all over the surface of the basket, preferably according to the gender of the baby if it is known. These colored shreds of paper will actually make the hamper look bright from a distance and items to be put inside can be placed on them to make them visible.
8.Toys, feeding bottles, books need to be placed first. Bottles are best placed in their packages so that they remain clean.
9.After this you can put in items like the pacifier, the stuffed toys, baby rattles etc right in front.
10.Remember to include a card at the top that carries a personal greeting.
11.Pack the whole hamper with a bright cellophane paper or simply wrap it with a lovely ribbon to make it look cute and special.

13.Baby wash is a great item since new parents will naturally need this to bathe their little one.
14.Squeaky toys are a useful addition that helps to distract the baby when changing his soiled diapers.
15.CDs playing soft music or lullabies are very necessary to keep the baby feeling composed and everyone relaxed especially when she is being fed.
16.A hooded towel is a good gift idea as it helps to dry the baby off faster.
17.If the baby has older siblings you can always get a small gift for them in the hamper so as to make them cheerful as well.
