1. Find your niche. What do you have an internet in or passion for? Dogs? Basketball? Latest Gadgets? Talk about things you have knowledge in.
Remember this rule: you cannot give what you do not have. Talk about what you are an expert at. You must talk directly to your target audience.
Are your readers youngsters, middle aged, or are they oldies? Talk in the way your readers can easily get what you want to say.
2. Talk about what is being talked about by everybody. So, Michael Jackson died. You may not care, or have any special connection with him.
However, many people did like MJ. When people talk about some mishaps, sometimes some people will just turn away.
But, if you are writing blogs you must have something to say about what everyone is talking about. Tell them your point of view in the matter. Maybe somebody else will agree with you.
3. Have a discussion board in your blog where people can post commente. If you touch someone's heart, or you hurt someone's feeling, a discussion board is a must.
You must have a blog. This way you will know if what you are writing has made any impact to your readers. This can also be a way for marketing anything you would like to advertise.
4. Blogs are one of the great tools for affiliate marketing. If you are familiar with affiliate marketing then you know that most affiliates use their blogs to advertise the products of the companies they are affiliates for.
They write articles to sell products and services of big companies like Ebay and AdSense. You can do this too if you are willing. Once you learn how you will make money with your website.
5. Enjoy working on your blog. Don't put pressure on yourself.
As much as you want writing to express your opinion, your creative ideas, or maybe share your family's experience, you just want to have some fun doing it. You can make money and have fun too.
Making money on a Word Press blog may seem limited for first timers. But in the long run you will thank yourself you did it.
