These crafty inventions can be stowed away or concealed in a variety of different ways and the reason they are hidden is so that the subject that is being filmed is unaware of this fact. In some cases, people have filed lawsuits against producers for placing them in situations they found undesirable.
Undercover devices for the purposes of recording are often used in order to protect items or people. These may be found in offices, homes, stores and such places for this purpose. Parents that have baby sitters often use this for making sure the baby sitters do not get up to no good. This prevents negligence and abuse on the part of the baby sitter.
As mentioned above, shops and stores can benefit from this in order to prevent theft. This theft could be by the causal trade or by staff members who feel they should relieve the store of stock. These cameras have settled many court room debates by providing irrefutable evidence.
