Home Teeth Whitening Pens Vs Powders. Which Is Right For You?

Author : J Pal

Over time your teeth may become stained which can turn your pearly whites yellow. However most stains can be treated with products you can use at home to whiten your teeth.

But even the worst of stains can be treated with a good whitening product.

Everybody wants to have a brighter smile and teeth whitening has never been easier with today's technology and advancements.

However, the product you choose needs to be right for you and meet your requirements.

People are talking about teeth whitening pens and powders. These are available in different forms and have differences in their application process.

How does a teeth whitening pen work? The application process is easy with a gel-filled pen to brush on the whitening solution where you need it the most.

The pen is usually wide enough to get a good grip, but not so bulky that it is difficult to apply.

You can control the application of the gel when using a pen.

How does a teeth whitening powder work? It is a similar product to the pen but in powder form.

It's application process differs. And rather than using a gel pen, the system usually comes with a swab.

You moisten the tip of the swab and dip it into the powder. You cover the teeth you want to treat, one at a time. You can increase the concentration of the powder where you need it most.

So which one should you choose? If you don't mind the extra effort and time you need to treat your teeth with a swab, the powder may be your best bet.

And for those who prefer an easier application, the pen is the way to go.

The application process you choose must be easy for you so your treatments will get done on a regular basis. Do you want to apply the solution using a pen or swab? Its your choice.

What are the expected results? Individual results will vary by the product and the individual. Remember, when trying any new product, you must be consistent with the treatments and give the products a fair chance to work.

Results will also vary depending on how bad your teeth are stained. Some stains may take more applications to remove than others.

A benefit of using both of these products is that they are still a lot cheaper than getting laser teeth whitening surgery at a dentist. So they are good options for those on a budget.
