What this means is everyone is promoting the exact same website. If you are going to become successful, you need to increase the odds by eliminating some of your competition. Having your own website will do that for you.
2. Another important factor is to have a blog of your own. Today many Internet marketers use a blog as their primary website. However that is not the case for everyone.
Starting a blog is easy to do, and the benefits are huge. The rewards for blogging include the opportunities for extra traffic from search engines, social directories, social networking sites, and social media such as video or audio sites.
Plus blogs are an excellent way to passively sell yourself and your business opportunity. You do not even have to write blog articles yourself if that is a problem for you.
You can hire a blog writer for $4-$5 dollars an article. This is an investment in yourself and in your business that is worth making.
3. You must build your list! If you have done Internet marketing at all in the past you've heard this more than once. However it's truer today than at any time in the past.
It is important to include a sign-up form on every web page and blog page that you build. You should be using a quality auto responder such as Get Response to store your prospect's name and email address in.
An email list gives you prospects to contact at anytime you want. Because most people will not buy a product or join a program on their first exposure following up is extremely important.
4. How many new prospects hear about you everyday? You should spend the majority of time promoting your Internet business in multiple ways. The more prospects you are exposing your opportunity to the more you will grow.
In summary these are three pieces of the Internet home business puzzle. It is not only important to promote your website or blog to as many prospects as possible, but also to
follow up with them via e-mail as well!
