Ideal Dog Cages Keep Your Pet Comfortable

Dog cages are dogs' own space. It's a space in your house that belongs completely to your dog. The selection of a dog cage is an important issue. Since dog cages are closed spaces in three dimensions, neither they should be too big nor too small. If the dog cages are too big, dogs may spoil one side in the cage and sit on the other side. If they are too small, dogs may find them very uncomfortable, since they cannot have their normal movements. Ideally, dog cages must be high enough for dog to sit and stand with ease. Furthermore, they must be long enough for the dog to stretch. In short your dog must be completely in the comfort zone.

Dog cages made up of wire are the best option. These cages have many holes to provide air in plenty to your pet dog. Furthermore, these cages let your dog see the surroundings easily. In case your dog has a barking problem then dog cages should have coverings. For that purpose, you can cover the cage with a towel also. The removable plastic tray with dog cages will make it easy for cleaning.

If you have a puppy that is to grow with time better buy a full grown size dog cage. Use dividers to provide ideal space to your dog for sitting, standing and stretching. In the initial stage, the divider of the cage should provide the minimum space, as your dog grows you shift the divider to provide more and more space for your pet dog. The place of the dog cage in your home should be such that dog is able to see you very often. Dogs do not like to be isolated. Your dog should be able to feel that you are around most of the time. In the daytime, the ideal place for dog cage in home is the kitchen or front room.
