Corner Bathroom Vanities Save Space In Style

Some people have bathrooms that are large enough for a double vanity and a whirlpool tub, but others among us have very limited space to work with. Fortunately, there are many bathroom vanities on the market that are designed to fit into small spaces without sacrificing great style and storage capacity. There are single vanities that can be hung on the wall with a separate mirror, for example, as well as corner vanities that fit snuggly into the point where two walls meet to maximize the small amount of space that is available.
Corner bathroom vanities are compact and stylish for any space where the layout is a problem. Studio apartments and half bathrooms have very limited space, but with single vanities that are designed to fit into the corner this should not be a problem. The space above the corner can even be utilized with shelving units and mirrors that blend nicely into the wall. Corner bathroom vanities improve the appearance of these oft used rooms and impart a stylish look even to an outdated home.
There are various shapes available to choose from in both antique and modern styles. Corner bathroom vanities are available with or without cabinets and may be made from wood such as teak, maple, cherry, mahogany or oak. There are plain wood vanities and painted vanities. This is a matter of personal taste, but in either case it is important to ensure that the wood is well protected. It’s necessary to take special care of wood vanities in order to protect them from water and moisture.
Not everyone has space for a double vanity, but luckily everyone has space for one of these corner vanities. Before purchasing any type of single vanities, however, it is necessary to measure the dimensions of the room to be sure it will fit. Corner bathroom vanities should be of an appropriate height so basic tasks such as hand-washing and teeth-brushing can be done comfortably.
