Hemorrhoids are not easy things to deal with. They are quite painful, make it uncomfortable to sit down and on top of this, no one really wants to talk about them. There are basically two types of hemorrhoids. They are either internal or external. In those that are external, they will be located on the anal verge or the very end of the canal. These products are usually things like a sits bath, topical creams, and even suppositories. If caught in the early stages, these treatments can relieve the pain and discomfort and allow for the body to heal. Yet, this often is not enough.
When these treatments do not help an individual, it is time to seek out the help of a doctor. The treatment here will be done based on what the doctor feels is best for the current condition of the individual. It may include electrotherapy, dilation which is the stretching of the muscles in the area, rubber band ligation, scleotherapy which is injection therapy and even cryosurgery in which the effected area is frozen and removed.
Because of their seriousness and their pain, anyone that thinks that they may be affected by this condition should seek out the help of a doctor. It is the fastest way to get relief from this condition.
