The intrusive ones such as pop outs are similar to the conventional TV and Radio advertising where the consumers are interrupted regularly by ads. Email is another form of digital advertising, but works best when the consumer gives permission to receive promotions and advertising.
Internet has taken up more of each person's daily media time, compared to TV and radio. Internet offers the convenience and speed of completing tasks and obtaining information. You don't have to walk or drive to the supermarket to run your errands, but you can do your shopping online. Relationships can also be built online, despite not meeting the customer face to face. This will be further enhanced as technological innovation increases with time.
