Do you ever find yourself not focused at work? The key I have found for myself to stay focused is having the right opportunity to represent. When you’re in a business that you are passionate about focusing is easy because you love what you’re doing and it’s almost like a hobby. After a day or two off you look forward to getting back to work.
I used to not love what I was doing and working from home was really hard for me. Now I am selling something I believe in and love. I have the opportunity to help people. I used to be the guy that would look at my work week as hell. I wasn’t passionate about my job then I wanted to cut my hours then my pay eventually cut. When I started to represent companies that were in line with my purpose it made it extremely easy for me to focus. It comes to me a majority of the time because I know that ever action I take is taking me closer to my goals and my purpose of helping people. I get excited and anxious to work harder. This is the easiest way to have and keep focus: do something you love. If your mind is starting to get unfocused what you want to do is zero in on what your purpose is. What are you here for? What do you feel what you are suppose to be doing? If you don’t know you need to get some help. The right coach can help you figure out exactly what that purpose is.
My first coach helped me figure out what my purpose is and that was the most positive turn in my sales career. My purpose is to empower others; help them live happier and more fulfilling lives in a fun loving environment. After I could clearly see what my purpose was I realized where I was in my career didn’t fit the criteria on how I wanted to live. Money wears off; the relationship with co-workers sometimes goes down the wrong road. The beauty of passion is when the relationship with the company your working hits a bumpy road you strive to figure out a way to get around it. If you’re not making as much money as you want to it doesn’t really matter as long as you love what you’re doing. When you’re making more money than you think your worth you just keep going. Make a huge shift in your sales career. Figure out what your passion is it will pay you the most in the end.
